Tonight after the children were tucked in snug as bugs in rugs, the hubby and I indulged in some delicious Blue Bell goodness and the new Batman movie. It was an enjoyable evening for just the two of us.
I am a multitude of things. I am also not a multitude of things. I am: girly, sensitive, moody, intelligent, too hard on myself, needy, politically incorrect, intense, patient, passionate, loving, affectionate, unapologetic, friendly, emotional, artistic, nurturing, fun-loving, and loud. I am not: lazy, stupid, good enough, perfect, popular, skinny, crunchy, socially graceful, mean, hateful, malicious, spiteful, comfortable with myself, 100% happy with my life, hard to please or willing to settle. I have come a long way in my life, but I have far yet to go. I've always struggled with being comfortable in my own skin. There have been times in my life when I wanted to crawl out of my skin and pretend to be anyone else but who I am. I am coming to realize that I am who I am because of who I have been, and that I will be who I will be because of who I am now. Good, bad or ugly, I am coming to terms with it. I may not always be right, I may not always be funny, but I can promise you this: I will always be grammatically correct.
